Mahj is definitely having a moment! At Minneapolis Mah Jongg Club, we've been sharing the fun here in the Twin Cities, for more than 10 years by teaching American style Mah Jongg, using the National Mah Jongg League rules and card. Mahj is a game that brings people together, regardless of skill level or age. We love the community it builds and we are excited to share the fun and grow our Mahj world with you.

April Mah Jongg for Beginners - 4-Part Series Daytime

Thursdays, April 9, 16, 23 & 30, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm (please note the first class will go until 1:00 pm). This 4-class series is the best most comprehensive way to learn Mahj! It's the sweet spot to building a strong foundation and knowledge. We will take you through the basics, cover rules, etiquette and build on your knowledge each week. By week 4 you'll be soaring! We'll even teach you 3-player and 2-player Mahj.

Meet Abbe Blacker
I grew up with my mother and her friends playing Mah Jongg. The clicking sounds of the tiles and the laughter and chatter as they played, were the sounds of my childhood.
I love that I'm building on that memory by teaching others how to play. Mahj is so much fun, it's so good for our brains to learn new things, and it's a great way to spend time with friends (and make new ones).

We are located in Edina's 50th & France shopping and dining district. With ample free parking available in the North Parking Ramp, we are conveniently located just west of the parking ramp exit.
